Pato Banton: Things are going blessed man.

DJ: You come over once or twice a year to the island. How does it feel to come back every time?

Pato Banton: It feels like coming home, you know? When we come to Hawaii its very special time for us. There was a long break where we didn’t come back to Hawaii.  Last year when we came and met all the fans and the people again, I just said to myself it’s something that we have to do at least twice a year.  It’s not so much about coming down here and earning a lot of money.  I just want to come down and have some chill-out time and have some time to do some shows for the people that love our music and see our friends and family.

DJ: And this is the exact spot to do it brah! Thank you so much. When we come back… We’re gonna take a quick break. More
Pato Banton when we come back. Stick around to the Reggae Café.

DJ: And lets talk about The Now Generation. You always hook up with the best, how did you hook up with these guys?

Pato Banton: Well, I basically prayed for an awesome band of humble people who were not just great musicians but enjoy being on the road. We’ve been on the road since last year April and we tour nonstop basically.

DJ: The energy is so nuts. You found a really good band up here. Congratulations brah. Alright, lets get into the hana hou.
Pato Bantonn live at The Shack Waikiki. Hana hou!!!!!!

Pato Banton: Ya. Well, I’m gonna do a quick piece of this song and do one final song.  I’m gonna keep it short.  Before I do the final song, I have to do something for Kelly, who couldn’t be here the last time because she wasn’t well. I’m so, so, so happy to see you made a full recovery and you are here with us tonight. I’m just gonna keep praying that you stay healthy. You look beautiful and just so happy to see you this time around.  This message is for you, Kelly. This one is called Stay Positive. No matter what the crisis is, always stay positive. If you’re ever feeling down, you know, you can turn off your iPod, iPhone, iChat, i-this, i-that, take a little time out and just tune into a higher frequency because trust me, when you do that for 5 minutes everyday you just have this feeling that no matter what you’re going through everything is gonna be alright.  Alright!

    Song 6: Stay Positive
