This is amazing!!!

This is so sad! Frederick "Toots" Hibbert, front man for the legendary reggae band The Maytals, was hospitalized in Richmond, VA for injuries sustained while performing at the Dominion Riverrock festival on Saturday May 18, 2013. An audience member hurled an empty glass bottle at the performer, striking him in the forehead and subsequently forcing Hibbert to leave the stage ending the show 38 minutes prematurely. The band was performing their classic version of John Denver's "Take Me Home, Country Roads" when the incident occurred. Hibbert was able to leave the stage of his own volition.

The Surfrider Foundation’s Oahu Chapter is hosting a Hands Across the Sand event and beach cleanup on Sat., May18, at Kalama Beach Park, 248 N. Kalaheo Ave., in Kailua from 9:30am till noon. Similar events will be taking place across the globe, and the purpose of these gatherings is to say, NO to dirty fossil fuels and YES to clean energy!

This is an amazing idea and I wish that this was implemented in Hawaii for our children in crisis. Do you think this is an effective way to get children to seek help against child abuse?
