Radio and T.V. Personality Mele Apana  a.k.a. "MENTO MELE" has been in the radio world for 11 yrs! She started at KCCNFM100 in the afternoons, moved to the morning show on Xtreme 104.3 and now she rules the afternoons as your "Afternoon Kumu Hula of Halau O Pua Ting" and she's also the "Island Scoop reporter for KHNL Channel 8 news!
  Shes a proud graduate of Kamehameha and University of Hawaii where she obtained her degree in Speech and Communications. Besides being a media personality, Mele is also a worldwide entertainer, producer, school teacher (believe it or not!!)  and concert promoter who has worked with re-known artist both local and international.  Her childhood dream of being a radio disc-jockey has now been fulfilled and come full circle! Mele's Motto: How do you live long??  "YOU GOTTA BE MENTO!!"  HAHAHAHAAA!!
